Jim Schuster, P.E. joined WL Port-Land Systems in 2005. He has been involved in engineering since 1966. Jim has expertise in material handling systems design and construction in a multitude of industries.
Jim has been involved in engineering, construction, and project management in bulk materials handling and site development for both domestic and foreign projects. He has held many engineering and management positions with Dravo Corporation Engineering Works Division, Svedala, and Metso Minerals. During his over 35-year history and tenure with these related companies, Jim has supervised the design and construction of individual pieces of bulk material handling equipment, turnkey transfer/export terminals, and power plant material handling systems.
Jim is a graduate of Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, and has a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer.
